On July 22, The Boyz’s agency, IST Entertainment said,
“The Boyz will release their 7th extended play on August 16th and begin their activities.”
He also said, “We plan to release a teasing content in the midnight of July 25th (KST).”
This album is a new mini-album after the previous third single album ‘MAVERICK’.
The song ‘Maverick’ means ‘no matter what the others think of you and don’t follow the rules’.
The Boyz is a South Korean boy band under IST Entertainment since 2017.
The group debuted with the lead single ‘Boy’.
They also joined Mnet’s reality competition ‘Road to Kingdom’ and finished in first place in 2020.
As a result, the group secured a spot and also participated
in ‘Kingdom: Legendary War’ in 2021.
